HOLIDAYS IN KOREA>

For a standard language academy (hagwon) contract, these will be 10 days. Most likely you will not be able to choose when you can take these holidays. Generally, 5 days will be in winter and 5 days in summer, according to the school's schedule. The 5 days will be sandwiched between two weekends so it creates a great time to get away and travel.

Beware, if you want to travel during Korean national holidays, especially Chuseok and Lunar New Year, book early as flights become overbooked very quickly.
