Many Korean loves the outdoors and hiking is probably the most popular pastime. There are an abundance of national parks to experience some breathtaking scenery and unspoilt wildernesses. There are locations for white-water rafting across the peninsula and so much fun can be had.

There are also many paragliding clubs and some that cater to only foreigners. Mountain biking is also a popular pastime and the mountainous interior of the country is perfect for the many tracks that exist.
