PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN KOREA>
The
transport network is fast, reliable and immaculate. The KTX, the Korean
bullet train, connects Seoul to Busan, Daejeon, Daegu and Gwangju.
The
intercity bus network is also impressive and very simple to use. In the
cities bus services are good as are the subway networks. Taxis are
incredibly cheap and very clean. If you are lucky you may get a disco
cab with internal flashing lights, playing old euro-pop.
Korea is a
great hub for travelling to the rest of Asia and the world. Incheon
International airport is simple to get to from all of Korea. Beijing,
Shanghai, Hong Kong, Macau, Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Manila, KL and
Singapore are all in easy reach and are great to visit for a long
weekend.
